[edit] Sockpuppetry case
You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Messenger2010 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Yankees76 15:11, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.Yankees76 15:22, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.Yankees76 15:24, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Soybeans, etc.
Hello, AndyCanada, and thank you for contacting me on my talk page. I do not have any interest in seeing any changes to the articles in question in either way, to start off. I often review recent changes by new contributors to watch for vandalism or other abuse, and it appears that I discovered a pretty serious dispute between yourself and Yankee76. On reviewing the page history, it looks like all you two are debating over is the inclusion of certain statements about soy protein's nutritional value. If you could explain the exact nature of your dispute on my talk page, it would help me get my head around the dispute more easily.
- As far as sockpuppetry goes, having one more than one account, as you said, is not explicitly prohibited per WP:SOCK. However, notable exceptions to this are sock puppets created for the purposes of evading the 3-revert rule (WP:3RR), abusive sockpuppets, and attempting to make a minority view appear to have wider support than it actually does. Using multiple accounts is strongly cautioned against, and in the case that multiple accounts are used to get around rules, most times the administrative approach is to block all but the original account. Please be careful and civil in disputes in the future and try to engage in debate on talk pages instead of edit warring- it's much more conducive to writing an encyclopedia. Please let me know of any more questions you have on my talk page. --Kuzaar-T-C- 17:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to target users' pages for vandalism you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Yankees76 20:13, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Personal Attacks
[1]Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by administrators or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. Yankees76 23:04, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Please assume good faith when dealing with other editors. See Wikipedia:Assume good faith for the guidelines on this.Yankees76 23:28, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. If you continue to make personal attacks, you will be blocked for disruption. Yankees76 19:49, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR Warning
You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from editing. Yankees76 18:20, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Please do not delete sections of text or valid links from Wikipedia articles. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Yankees76 21:43, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Please avoid using abusive edit summaries as per Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Thanks and happy editing.Yankees76 21:45, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism?
Adding a referenced fact is not vandalism. Please be clear on what Wikipedia considers vandalism and especially what is not vandalism before throwing this word around. Thank you. --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 21:45, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Continuous Reverts
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you.Yankees76 00:11, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
