[edit] Thank you....
Thanks much for your response. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to list it or not, because I really am a firm believer in giving the benefit of the doubt. Then I saw your message on his talk page and figured you had an eye on him too. Thank you. Into The Fray T/C 03:35, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cardinal and Blue
Do you have any reason to think that the cite we found is inaccurate?--SarekOfVulcan 14:05, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- No, not really. It's just that the SJU football team wears red and white exclusively. I'd long thought those were the school colors, as well. android79 22:05, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Kuro-RPG
The Article was deleted, listed as blatant advertising, it was written by a member of the group but the content was largely accurate, if only self serving to a point of advertising I would like to edit the content into an appropriate article. Is it possible to have it restored for this purpose? Thanks Kurtis D. Levenham 08:01, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- For the life of me, I can't figure out what the article is describing. What is this article supposed to be about, anyway? A website? A forum? A floor wax? A dessert topping? android79 01:59, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- It is a website and forum dedicated to the creation of graphical representations of military and non military rank insignia/motifs/chevrons from varying real militaries and fictional ones, it is, highly decorated within the online-text based role play community environment for its contributions by providing countless websites and forums with these insignia imagesKurtis D. This article, which you speedied on August 6, has now been re-created. Biruitorul 05:00, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wing-Benn Deng
Hi, you deleted Wing-Benn Deng back in August. Do you think the current version shows sufficient notability? It seems borderline, to me. Corvus cornix 21:54, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Nope, still an A7, and so tagged, so someone else can pull the trigger this time. android79 22:05, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. Corvus cornix 22:15, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sock puppet question
In looking over a series of contributions & edits involving sock puppets of ColScott, one of which you banned User:FoolsRushIn, in relationship to edits conducted on Charles Manson, a suspicion has been raised about the identify of User:BassPlyr23 (talk|contributions). At best it's only a suspicion, however I did notice a similar comment left by FoolsRushIn on his own talk page diff where he opened with "Dude". Until I came across that, I wasn't very convinced. However Bassplyr23 left a comment on another editor's page starting out the same way: diff. I know it's not a lot, but there is the same interest in the Manson page, using the same vernacular and the bordering on incivility I've seen in confirmed ColScott/puppet posts. Is there a way that you can check this and clarify whether it's the same person? Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 23:52, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Are you serious? Do you guys give people a chance to fucking finish what they are doing? What is wrong with you people. I uploaded an image and you delete it without even seeing what the image will be used for. Geeez you people need to get off your high horses. --Sweetbajan (talk) 03:02, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Well YOU concluded wrong!! --Sweetbajan (talk) 03:10, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Arthur T. Murphy, Jr.
Did you even read my comment on the talk page for Arthur T. Murphy, Jr.? I asked if someone could edit the article using the current text as a guideline. Beatlehippie (talk) 02:56, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I did. The "current text" was copied in whole from another website; Wikipedia cannot accept plagiarized content, even if it is later edited into a different form. If you want to write an article about this subject, please consider paraphrasing the referenced website instead. android79 03:03, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] GirlsAskGuys
I have read the policies and the guidelines as to what can be posted and what cannot be posted on Wikipedia. I must have failed to find the line on how on earth this entry would be deleted. I was creating this entry yesterday and without even reaching the half point, it got deleted and by the time I figured out how to contact the admin, I decided to create at least almost a complete version with a tag at the top.
Tell me how this website is different than any other Q&A website listed on wikipedia, in spite of the fact that some entries are totally <CRAP>Askville</CRAP>. And yet, it gets to stay here because it is founded by Amazon? I am still very frustrated as it took me 3 hours to create that page and yet you deleted it within seconds by telling me to "Read the policy pages" without even explaining or giving the specific reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 3hundred1 (talk • contribs) 05:20, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Yves Ker Ambrun
Dear Android79, I can't figure why you deleted my new Page "Yves Ker Ambrun". It was definitely no spam, advertisement or nonsense. It might have not look like much (I hoped other users would feed and grow it), but it took me an awful lot of time to make. Thanks for your reply and maybe an explanation about this. Kind Regards, Petitgirard Petitgirard (talk) 19:23, 29 November 2007 (UTC)—Preceding unsigned comment added by Petitgirard (talk • contribs) 13:41, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yup, bad call on my part, though in my defense, I didn't see the sources you linked, since they were at the top of the article! I'll undelete. android79 01:57, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Android79. And you're very right, too: I positioned my sources very badly. It is the first time that i just don't only contribute to an existing Wikipedia article but actually try to create a new one out of scratch. And to think I've been working with computers for the last 20 years! Well... I thought, too, that sources were something different than external links, but actually it doesn't seem to be the case with the most articles I've studied the lay-outs of. Thanks Petitgirard 15:23, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] About Darkseid's Bitch
Hello there. On november 17, you speedily deleted the page Darkseid's Bitch, and you were right to do so since the article provided no claim to notability for the band. However, the band has unexpectedly resurfaced as part of a DC comics promotion stunt (here, which led me to believe that it was an entirely fictional band. Since the article appeared on Wikipedia before the publicity stunt, I was thinking it may have been created here by DC comics in the first place. Now just out of curiosity, can admin tools show you who had created the page in the first place? --Nehwyn (talk) 07:47, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Interesting find. The article was added by User:Adrapes, which sounds a bit ominous. That's the user's only contribution. android79 20:51, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the name "Adrapes" says nothing to me - it's either an invented word, or an anagram, but if it is I cannot solve it. I've left a comment on that user's talkpage, but I guess that's just it. Thanks for the info. --Nehwyn 20:59, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Atria Software
I was putting together a comparable article to Pure Software, for Atria.Tedickey 19:58, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- You're certainly welcome to, but please provide more information about why this company is notable in the first draft; otherwise, it's likely to be deleted on sight. android79 20:05, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Diego Penny
Hi Android, you speedily deleted the above article which I created, but I believe that you made a mistake - the football player in question is an international for Peru and so meets notability requirements. GiantSnowman 13:36, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't delete it because of notability; I deleted it as an A1 — short article with little or no context. When I deleted the article, it consisted solely of an infobox. An article with no actual prose certainly qualifies for A1. If you would like the article undeleted so you can add some more content to it, let me know. android79 17:16, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- Please can you undelete it, I shall add more content to it. GiantSnowman 17:18, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
