[edit] Petition (kopija maila koji sam danas dobio)

Potpisite peticiju protiv nezavisnosti Kosova i prosledite sajt drugima da ovi proslede trecima itd. Pozdrav!

Hi Friends,

I have just read and signed the petition: "No Independence For Kosovo"

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/905791187

Please feel free to write your representatives in addition to signing the petition. We show solidarity for Serbia and Also We Let Our Representative Know that We Support Serbia Territorial Integrity, with Letters and with Petition.

Note: I cannot change the petition text. So I will write the errata here: Josip Broz Tito was president of Yugoslavia, not of Serbia. Please forgive me the error. Also feel free to write me at savekosovo_metohijanow@msn.com, about any irregular signatures you see on the site. I am able to have those removed.

Thanks!

[edit] Spamming

Could you please stop spamming with that poll message. Some internet poll is not going to make a difference, it's only going to annoy people and make them vote supporting independence for Kosovo. Yes, independence for Kosovo, self-determination! PAVARËSI PËR KOSOVËN!!! Dirak 00:17, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Kosovo No Independence Petition

Sorry, but what's the point of that Petition? It only that around 15,000 signatures and without JMBG, they're all worthless. Particularly because many of them are practical jokes. Do you really expect me to believe that today lives a "Milos Obilic" in Kosovo Polje in Serbia and Montenegro (which by the way no longer exists)? Plus, why is S&M listed as a country? There is more than 120,000 Serbs in Kosoovo.

When they're already speaking in precise figures, they should say 17% and not "15%". And connections with Al-Qaeda is just very bad POV. Also, the International Law to which the petition draws actually allows the independence of Kosovo in a way (self-determination). Also, the Constitution of Serbia has received only several thousand votes, out of a population of several million, so it's worthless in Kosovo... you already commented on Tito being President of Serbia (sic!).

Aside from that, it's written in child English and even is in a way insulting. --PaxEquilibrium 00:59, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Besides that... Serbianna is a Serbian nationalist website... utterly POV. --PaxEquilibrium 01:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spam

Please don't add random poll spam to my user page. Neilc 05:48, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Nor to mine. I do not know why did you think a good idea to spam me with political petition request, but I feel strongly against any message directed at me that has any connection to real life politics. I would appriciate it if you would refrain from ever spamming me again. Shinhan 06:29, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Andrija, please read WP:CANVASS, WP:SPAM and WP:SOAPBOX. Your last 100 contributions are the petition spam, as well as canvassing for University of Pristina . Please have in mind any future similar instance of canvassing may lead to an extended block. Thanks. Duja 08:37, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Boki Milosevic

Actually, the Wiki convention is the "most frequently and widely used names" and to the general public he's known as Boki Milosevic, not Bozidar Milosevic. Zvonko 14:45, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Arbo Valdma

Dr. Arbo Valdma (born 1942 in Pärnu, Estonia) is one of the leading Serbian-Estonian pianists and piano professor. It is no overstatement to name him the ultimative Serbian-Estonian pianist :->. --131.152.61.96 15:38, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Maybe. However, it would be more usefully to expand this article and to write articles about his former students. If you can, please do so.--Andrija 17:47, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi, Andrija, my irony seems to be lost on you. So: How many Serbian-Estonian pianists are there? Let me guess: One, him. The sentence "one of the leading Serbian-Estonian pianists" therefore doesn't make any sense. I have an interest in meaningful sentences and none in your pianists. --131.152.61.96 12:59, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Milenko Stefanović

I have reviewed the article and have decided that it did not meet the good article criteria. Please see the talk page to see what improvements need to be done for the article to reach GA status. I also encourage you to look at other GA music articles to see what is expected. T Rex | talk 12:48, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright problems

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Allen Cohen (composer), we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material without the permission of the author. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.welltonenewmusic.org/cec_april20.html. As a copyright violation, Allen Cohen (composer) appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Allen Cohen (composer) has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. For text material, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source, provided that it is credible.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Allen Cohen (composer) and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Allen Cohen (composer) with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Allen Cohen (composer).

However, for text content, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. BuddingJournalist 20:31, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Well, in that case, the author must specifically release the text under GFDL or some compatible license (see Wikipedia:Requesting_copyright_permission). If it's published elsewhere online, then the website must indicate that it is a GFDL license (or equivalent). Or, of course, rewriting it might be easier (and make the text more encyclopedic in the process). Hope this helps. Cheers, BuddingJournalist 15:49, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of war crimes

Hi. As a Serb Wikipedian are you aware that there is absolutely no mention of Ustasha crimes in the List of war crimes?

Something needs to be done. Unfortunately I am not in a position to do so, but I submit it for your consideration. Spread the word. 216.194.20.252 (talk) 22:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Serbian North Kosovo

Hi, I was born in Indiana but I was exchange student in Croatia, I also visited Kosovo, is it best that you guys separate after official referendum, that's what you are thinking?Good, most practical! Do you expect war? What part of serbia are you from? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Kosovo_map-en.svg This river, is it good border, what's length of it, sirina?

[edit] Don't disrupt articles

I see you're disrupting articles related to the list of municipalities of Kosovo. Please, don't disrupt the neutral point of view that guides Wikipedia. Otherwise, I will put a notice on the administrative board. --Arbër t? 10:21, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

This makes no sense. NPOV requires that all significant point of view be present, not the most significant one, or anything similar. Surely, POV that Kosovo is a country is not the only one that should be presented. Nikola (talk) 00:26, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your Editing of the Kosovo article's Intro

I have reverted your edits.

Discuss changes to the intro FIRST within the TALK PAGE. If you want it to include "и Метохија; Kosovo i Metohija" than try to gain consensus FIRST in the Talk Page. Do not revert prior to discussion.

To reiterate: you need to goto the Talk Page and propose your changes BEFORE you change the intro. That intro took many months of discussion to complete. You must goto the talk page and propose your change before enacting it. Please don't start an edit war. I don't want to be banned over your actions.

I am not saying that your edit is necessarily wrong or bad, I'm just saying you need to discuss it first. Good luck man. Beam 18:05, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
