Welcome to Wikipedia, Andrew from NC! I am Flex and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Thank you! --Andrew from NC (talk) 00:49, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Good morning

Hi. (: There's normally a reason for me leaving talk page messages, but this time is pretty random. Basically, this is how it went down: I saw your edit on my watchlist to Jesus, I sort of chuckled at your username, I agreed with most of your userboxes, and then I decided, what the heck, I'd introduce myself. I saw you have very few edits and I can only assume you haven't been at this too long (unless you just made an account), so if you have any questions, you can drop by my talk page anytime! (: [Ashleyy|osaurus] 14:30, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for leaving me a message! --Andrew from NC (talk) 00:49, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh, you're welcome! And of course I don't mind your "thievery" of my userboxes; I was considering snagging one or two of yours myself. (: [Ashleyy|osaurus] 01:10, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Jesus' sexuality

I noticed you inserted WP:CSD tag to that article. Please bring the article for deletion debates, not speedy. Dekisugi (talk) 11:52, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry 'bout that. I was under the impression that nonsense got deleted quickly around here. Silly me! --Andrew from NC (talk) 05:24, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion

Hi, I saw you revert on the article Jesus' sexuality. I removed the CSD tag there, because the article does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion. If you want to nominate the article for deletion, please use the AfD procedure instead, though it looks like it will probably be kept on an AfD discussion as well. Adding the speedy deletion tag back is disruptive to the project. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 11:52, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Homeschooling

Hi Andrew, I noticed that you had contributed to the Unschooling article, and thought you might be interested in WikiProject Homeschooling. Let me know. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 16:44, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

No, this person vandalized the unschooling article. Amillion (talk) 21:20, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Ha ha ... didn't notice that. Just saw Unschooling in the contributions list and didn't even think to check. :) Anyway, you can still join if you want, I guess. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 21:22, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for inviting me, and thanks to Amillion for spoiling the fun! --Andrew from NC (talk) 05:20, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hey!

Hi, I just randomly clicked on your username that I saw on the Jesus talk page. I like your boxes (I used some of them!). Anyways, it's cool that your a Christian and that it's not just evolutionist and atheists writing Wikipedia! Bye Atl braves (talk) 17:01, 8 April 2008 (UTC) by the way, I wanted the Tar Heels to win the championship but they didn't. :(

Thanks! After being told off for "vandalism" several times recently it's nice to see that there are a few decent folks around here. --Andrew from NC (talk) 05:22, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please refrain from vandalizing articles

Please refrain from vandalizing the unschooling article. You might have thought your changes were amusing, but they are contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia. Thank you. Amillion (talk) 21:24, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry nobody around here has a sense of humor. --Andrew from NC (talk) 05:00, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
You might try Uncyclopedia ([1]), where joke edits are the entire point. Amillion (talk) 19:35, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Test?

Good point. I understand what you meant, But. The quiz says "...Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life..." so it did say you have to be forgiven to be saved. I believe the quiz, to someone who has a 'guilty conscience, can allow the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts. But I got your point, and the quiz IS created for the people who aren't saved. It comes from a different perspective. Plus it says if they do that, ("grant me your gift of everlasting life") then they are free from their sins. And about it being offencive, if a Administrator, or somebody like that, tells me to take it off; I will. But seriously, many people have been saved by that. Thanks for the comment, it was thought provoking, if you want to talk more I'll be available. God Bless, AmericaNeedsJesus 20:24, 10 April 2008 (UTC) P.S. Congratulations on being the very first Christian Wikipedian!

[edit] Reverting others

Just letting you know you should be a bit more careful when reverting the work of others. This edit re-instated some incorrect capitalizations in a title. Please be more careful of undoing neutral, helpful edits in the future. Thanks!-Andrew c [talk] 12:12, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I'll watch out for that from now on. --Andrew from NC (talk) 01:06, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Repeated vandalism

Thank you for your contribution, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you.

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. Amillion (talk) 18:39, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

May I ask which edit summary you are referring to? --Andrew from NC (talk) 08:02, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Me again. I just thought I would point out that you aren't doing so good with the edit summaries yourself. "Don't be an idiot"? If I actually cared I could report you for a personal attack. --Andrew from NC (talk) 08:14, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
That wasn't me, that was Andymc. The edit summaries I was referring to are the ones you use when you make "joke" edits. You try to make it sound like you are making an uncontroversial and/or productive edit when you are actually not. Quite honestly, you seem intelligent and inclined to make meaningful contributions to some articles here, and I think you have a lot to bring to the table. I would hate to see that thrown away for the sake of a "joke." Amillion (talk) 03:08, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hello!

You know who I am :) Could you look or vote with this. Thanks -- AmericanEagle 20:54, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
