[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Camels in oregon.JPG
Thank you for uploading Image:Camels in oregon.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 06:10, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Underaglassbell.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Underaglassbell.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:47, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] License for Image:Settlemier House Woodburn, Oregon.JPG
The image Settlemier House Woodburn, Oregon.JPG is a candidate to be copied to the Wikimedia Commons. When you uploaded this image, you licensed it for use under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL). On behalf of the Wikipedia and Commons communities, thank you.
You also chose a license tag which adds disclaimers to the GFDL. As explained at Wikipedia:GFDL standardization, these disclaimers cause certain re-use problems that make the GFDL less free than it could be. Before I copy this image to the Commons, I wanted to ask whether you would be willing to remove the disclaimers from your GFDL tag. No one other than you may legally alter the license. If you do choose to modify the license on this image, I respectfully recommend any of the following best-practices license tags: You are under no obligation whatsoever to alter the license. Doing so merely cooperates with those members of the community who believe that disclaimers in individual media are undesirable. Wikipedia consensus still allows GFDL licenses with disclaimers, as does the Commons. Whether or not you choose to remove the disclaimers, thank you for your consideration. This message was placed using Template:License disclaimer notice. |

- Thank you for removing the disclaimers from that image. I've now copied it to the Commons at Commons:Image:Settlemier House - Woodburn Oregon.jpg, where it can help improve all of the Wikimedia projects. Ipoellet (talk) 06:41, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Garth fagan dance at wou 6.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Garth fagan dance at wou.jpg. The copy called Image:Garth fagan dance at wou.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot (talk) 22:59, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Ron Protas
A tag has been placed on Ron Protas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] AfD nomination of Ron Protas
I have nominated Ron Protas, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ron Protas. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Phallos.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Phallos.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:31, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Argevita2pr.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Argevita2pr.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:14, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Delia Parodi
Your name, coupled with your involvment with Maria Eva Duarte de Perón's page leads me to wonder whether you are related to Delia Parodi, Argentine Congresswoman and Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, who was a close associate of Evita and succeeded her as the president of the partido feminista?

[edit] Eva
I rolled your edit back because it seems you re-added vandalism into the article. The sentence "Eva Perón spent her childhood in the alley in a farmer jack box" makes absolutely no sense. --Ave Caesar (talk) 22:29, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Not a problem, I figured it was just an oversight or maybe there is actually such a thing as a "farmer jack box." --Ave Caesar (talk) 22:43, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
