[edit] Andrew´s page
Hi there, dear Hlj. I wanted to tell you about a page that I have just uploaded. It´s about Malinda Blalock, the celebrated woman who changed her sex to fight together with her husband Keith. You may write me back, telling me your thoughts. Anytime. --AndresArce 20:35, 2 May 2006 (UTC)AndresArce
- You're quite prolific. (And this bio effort is for a person I've never even heard of.) With all due respect to someone who is generating real content (vs. the dabbler-editors out there), you should spend a few minutes reviewing Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies) to see how bios should be formatted. A recent example in the ACW space that is pretty good is William Tecumseh Sherman, although you don't have to go to the extent of using that big tabular picture box on the upper right. Other examples are the 120+ I have on my user page. I have written a number of formatting and style hints in my page User:Hlj/CWediting and you are welcome to take advantage of them if you wish to be similar in style to other Civil War articles. [edit] Response to F.A.E. Porsche Article
Excellent job AndresArce! This is a huge improvement over the previous page. Great content, pictures, and citing sources. You have some problems (such as innapropriate italics), but this is great overall. You've inspired me to help out with this page (I own several books on the company/family).--Porsche997SBS 21:44, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A Question by Porsche997SBS
Hey Andrew, if you don't mind me asking, since there are a few grammatical errors in the Ferry Porsche article (no problem though), is English not your native toungue? If not, what language is it? Or do you just care for the things greater in life than grammar?

Thank you for your message and your edits, they look good to me. I also see that you seem to have some problems with the uploading and licensing of images? Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#Rules_of_thumb can help you if you have questions about images, you can obviously ask me as well or any of the other administrators who concern themselves with this. happy editing!-) Gryffindor 17:33, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Simon_Willard
wow, that's awesome what you did with that article (and the Willard Brothers article too). Sorry I can't really add any more info to it, and I should've checked my user page sooner. When I created the Simon Willard article I just started it as a stub so someone like you, who knows more than me could continue on. I think you've done a great job :). [edit] Willard Articles
Hi! I know you did a lot of work on expanding the Willard clock articles, but I think they need a second look. IMHO, we now have too many articles, and many of the "reference" articles created (such as Simon Willard's Tall Clocks) are likely not going to have much traffic. I think a full reorganization of the Willard articles is in order. See the discussion at Talk:Simon Willard#Simon Willard's Inventions. Please post your thoughts. --CPAScott 14:53, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
