[edit] My talk page

Jeez. Don't do that again. RahadyanS 22:05, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Apologies (embarrassed look) AndreasKQ 02:20, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] John F. Burns

Why was the section on JF Burns deleted? As far as I understand, every comment that is properly referenced should not be deleted? - WestTruth

I didn't delete it. So I have no idea. AndreasKQ 12:26, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Ah, I see now why you asked me. I'd originally moved down your additions to a Controversies and Criticisms section. But that's all I did. AndreasKQ 12:29, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] removing talk page headers

A friend told me earlier today that tph is unnecessary in most cases, so I've removed it from articles that haven't generated any controversy or other issues on their talk pages. AndreasKQ 03:53, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] old magazine/newspaper clippings

Hello, I noticed your interesting categorization edits recently. Were you at one point a reader of Talk magazine? If you are, then you could help me out. It would be a bit of work, but you could go back through the old issues of Talk and help complete one of the sections in List of the writings of William Monahan. That would really be a great help to me. I don't know if Monahan had a two dozen, half a dozen, or just the one article at Talk. Every little edit you could make to the list would help.-BillDeanCarter 19:42, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

I was a reader of Talk (magazine) but unfortunately all of my issues are in storage and currently unavailable. I don't know if an online archive of the issues exists. If I find out one does, I will let you know. AndreasKQ 20:00, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. I figure it will take about a year to pull together a complete list of Monahan's writings. do you remember if it was just the one article in the first issue of Talk that was by Monahan, or if he was a frequent contributor?-BillDeanCarter 21:08, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
I really don't remember at all. I generally don't remember bylines that well. AndreasKQ 14:39, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] George Gustines

A tag has been placed on George Gustines, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. exolon 19:00, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

I understand. AndreasKQ 19:39, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gloria Emerson

Thank you for your recent edits. One of the nicest feelings when working on WP is when one creates a page, and it sits around doing nothing for a while, and then suddenly there's a flurry of activity as someone improves it beyond all recognition. Hornplease 07:19, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

You're quite welcome. Glad to help! Best, AndreasKQ 12:15, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] duplicate entry for NYC LGBT Community Center

thought you would like to know that there is an existing article for New York's LGBT Community Center under it's legal name of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Services Center, but we agree that it is sometimes a problem to find it since almost every place that has one calls theirs the LGBT Community Center or the LGBT Center or something like that, probably the best thing to do is to look in this List of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community centers first BiAndBi

[edit] Cate Doty

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Cate Doty, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Cate Doty.
