[edit] A couple of point on ref tags

Two points on ref tags.

  1. Please don't use ibid, etc. If someone adds a reference between your two references, confusion will result
  2. Ref tags go after punctuation

Hope this helps, thanks for your work. IPSOS (talk) 12:46, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A Welcome! from a student

I was excited/enthralled to see your edits/contributions, but I won't go look at everything; I am too busy NOW. However, I wanted to tell you: I made things like the "List of Papyri by date", I started the Category: Egyptian artefact types, It was my first category creation. I recently did all the subcats in the Amarna letters. Please read some, only because they are to, and from the Egyptian pharaohs, (and of course really written by the SCRIBE, himself(Not herself?)... I retranslated the 13 lines of the Rosetta Stone, but stepped back to do Most of the Decree of Canopus,...My actual very first wikipedia stuff was on the Rosetta Stone, Then i did some Natural History stuff: I did all of the Caribbean, South Ameican Bird and Tree cats, pulled them out of Flora, and the Fauna. I am now doing Birds, and just recently created: Category:Birds of the Amazon Basin, but I also am dong: Category:Birds of Tierra del Fuego--(thank goodness, a smaller GROUP).... Anyhow I just made a Talk comment on the "Scorpion Macehead" page, as well as the Category page of "Ancient Egyptian literature". After working on about 40-50 of the Amarna Letters, and the Flood Story: THE epic of gilgamesh(hearing the words written in clay)(even thinking I saw the risque refenceces because of the Gilgamesh story (using Maureen Kovacs great tranlation/transliteration which was before the Assyrian Project works of the Sweden/Parpola.....Simo Parpola...page made:Neo-Assyrian Text Corpus Project))...I feel priveleged to know things about us humans.... and there's still a lot to learn (like in SEast asia there is a bird called: Streaked Spiderhunter ..i've been googleing Bird Pictures)...(I also made the cats for Palette, and Ostracon, Kudurru stones cat: and the pics at: (wow!!)(I found every external link one weekend)Category:Kudurru boundary stones)Anyway, I wanted to say: Hello!....Michael/..
