[edit] Poppers

Hi Andeggs. I wonder if you'd tell me your objection to the image in the lead section of the poppers article, which you swapped out today. There's a group of editors trying to get this article into shape for a possible nomination for a Wikipedia Good Article award and we'd found an image that represented current products as well as was graphically appealig. I know there was a possible concern about copyright issues. Many thanks. Munatobe7 14:07, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

I love your "I won't die in a ditch over this"! I agree, no problem here, either. I'm hoping for an even better image. It'd be nice if someone could shoot some poppers on display in a store somewhere, I'd think.

I see on your talk page that you have lots of experience with featured articles. Do you think the poppers article is getting good enough to be a serious contender for a "Good Article" award?

There are many other articles you could be spending your time on, but this one, especially, welcomes high quality contributions and civil editors. Thanks for your contributions. Munatobe7 18:54, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] relevance vs. red herring fallacies

At the time these templates were merged, they were largely overlapping and inconsistently applied (not to mention only one was consistent with other philosophy templates). It does not seem to me at a glance that the new template contains links that are not fallacies, but I am no specialist. The "navbox generic" structure (which I peronally loathe) was imposed after the merge by a third user (this is the version that I last looked at). In the end, I think the best place to try and discuss this is Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Philosophy, not my talk page. Circeus 22:25, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Francis Thomas Bacon

I rated Francis Thomas Bacon only as a stub because of the lack of image (as you noted), an infobox, and separation of sections. You are welcome to change it if you wish. Captain panda 21:01, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Law/Temp

Hi, I just noticed that a template you created, Template:Law/Temp, is unused and appears to be abandoned. I've marked it as deprecated, meaning it'll be deleted in two weeks' time if nobody objects. If there's a reason to keep it please leave a note at Wikipedia talk:Deprecated and orphaned templates and feel free to remove the {{deprecated}} tag from the template. Thanks. [edit] Copyright problems with Image:Edmundhillarycropped.jpg

An image that you uploaded, Image:Edmundhillarycropped.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 19:46, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please unblock me

This user's request to have the autoblock on his/her IP address lifted has been DECLINED.

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Davxs". The reason given for Davxs's block is: "Abusing multiple accounts".

  • Decline reason:

Not likely that two accounts on the same computer would be caught in the same autoblock. How do you explain this? — Blueboy96 00:09, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

This is Kafka-esque! How can I explain something I know nothing about? Please have a look at my contributions and unblock me. Andeggs (talk) 08:40, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
