Jehovah's Witnesses are often mentioned in popular culture and works of fiction, usually in reference to their preaching activity.

- In Coneheads (1993), government agents posing as Witnesses come to the door of the Conehead family.
- Knocking (2006) is a documentary about the organization and some of its members.
- Witnesses have also been referenced The PJs, The Simpsons, and The X-Files.

- Witnesses have been referenced in B.C., Bloom County, The Boondocks, The Far Side, and Get Fuzzy. A common joke is reference to the witness protection program.
- In an issue of Thunderbolts, the team approaches the lair of the Crimson Cowl, and Songbird quips that they should walk up to the door and say they are Jehovah's Witnesses.
- During Paul Jenkins' "Dogs of War" storyline in The Incredible Hulk, Bruce Banner hides from authorities and, peering out a window, remarks that Jehovah's Witnesses do not drive from door to door.
