The following is a re-ordering of the List of Registered Historic Places in Wayne County, Michigan, with each structure listed under the main throughfare which it falls closest to. Thoroughfares included are:

Structures are listed in geographical order, beginning in downtown Detroit (excepting structures near I-275, which are listed from north to south). There is some repetition, notably in downtown Detroit, where main streets are close to each other and thus individual structures can be close to more than one street.
