[edit] GCOTW
I'm giving you this message because you have been active on Gaming Collaboration of the week in the past. The collaboration had a bit of a hiatus, but it's now active again. A new article will be chosen this Sunday. It would be greatly appreciated if you visited the page to vote and/or make new nominations and worked on next week's GCOTW. Thanks. --Slowking Man 08:10, Feb 4, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Substub template
I created a new image for the Substub template (the Stub template has one, so I figured the Substub template could use one, too), but then I noticed it was locked. Would this image be acceptable for such use? Image:Mini Wiki letter w.png
[edit] Fair use
The image Image:Alucard.jpg has today found its way to the Swedish Wikipedia (sv:Bild:Alucard.jpg) and caused a discussion about coyright law and fair use. I notice that you added the {{fairuse}} tag to the image a while ago. Do you still think that it is fair use to have the picture on Wikipedia? In my view, fair use allows Wikipedia using bookcovers, albumcovers, company logotypes and similary pictures, not drawings of this kind. Regards, Thuresson 16:47, 9 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Mediation meeting
Template:Mediation-meeting Please edit the side box here (be brief) to update when you might be able to attend. Thanks. -==SV 22:05, 9 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Small wiki letter
Deleting it would be fine.
[edit] Mr. Do!
I re-read your shot at the page and I reconsidered. :) You're right, it does look better with the sequel information in the first paragraph. So I reverted it back to how you had it. I read that you are a video arcade enthusiast. Have you checked out the Arcade Wikiproject page? I know you are busy with being an admin and all but any contributions you can offer would be welcome. I seem to be the only one actively writing articles at the moment (I've done Sinistar, Ladybug and a few others), so more help would definitely be welcome. I have a feeling you have contributed yourself, but I'm just making sure. :) Anyway, my apologies for being hasty. I am still new at this (been on Wikipedia for about a month) and I haven't totally shaken It's-my-article-itis. I'm workin' on it. :) --Woohookitty 09:06, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

There's a backlog of requests currently at Wikipedia:Meditation Committee that need some approval. Since you are a Meditator, your input would be nice. Peace, humblefool® 02:41, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] External links
Hey Andre, I'd like to request that in your free time to please look into a discussion between User:Liftarn and myself over a matter of external links. It started at Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (see discussion page) with the addition of a link he added ODB Category. Since the link does not have any content of it's own and merely links to other websites I removed it refering to Wikipedia:External links and quoting to him on his discussion page: "Pages that are linked to in an external links section should be high content, with information that is not found in the Wikipedia article." - Although he makes a valid point of IMDB being linked on many Wikipedia pages, I still do not believe that the link he added has high content and should be removed. If this was just one article, I'd handle this myself, however, he has linked this website on a bunch of articles on Wikipedia including Call of Duty. Thank you. K1Bond007 20:40, Feb 24, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Brothers In Arms
At some point during development Brothers In Arms was renamed to Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30, which is now the official name (for all versions). There's already a redirect at Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30, can you move Brothers In Arms there? I've made all the changes to the links to point to Road to Hill 30 already. Thanks. [edit] Thank You
I received your e-mail and I want to thank you for looking into the "blocked" incident. What happened was that an IP User was blocked by User: Curps and I became one of the unintended victums, but, that's O.K. it isn't the first time. What I did was, I restarted my computer and the problem was solved. Thanks again. User:Marine 69-71
[edit] Mr. Saturn
Hello there-- Recently I noticed your edits on the Mr. Saturn page and wanted to personally assure you there are no qualms regarding that articles' google hit count nor with you recent revert. My apologies if this has caused any confusion as that was not the intent. --GRider\talk 23:36, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Sixth era of gaming
I'm not really sure what happened here, but upon looking at the article 128-bit era, the talk page was somehow moved to Sixth era of gaming. (I missed it at first). I know there was a big discussion about the appropriate name for the article and while I don't feel 128-bit is correct, I do think the sixth era of gaming article should be merged back with the 128-bit discussion page until resolution can be made. Heh.. the article Sixth era which is a talk page really, has a discussion page too. It's really kind of messed up. Just thought I would alert you so something can be done about this if you're in agreement. K1Bond007 03:50, Mar 14, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Atheism
Andre, could you explain on the Talk page why you protected the article again, and what you expect to happen before it is unprotected again? I don't really think it was necessary. I actually don't have much objection to Adraeus' latest version, apart from a few copyedits to smooth out his text stylistically. Also, since you have been an editor of this article, and have participated also in the Talk page quite extensively, making your own views quite known, it might have been better to let some other admin protect it. For the past few months, Mgm has been the admin watching this article, and in my view has done a very good job in projecting neutrality, and I would suggest in the future that you ask him to protect it if it looks necessary to you. Regards, Brian --BM 20:49, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
