Basel Sabbagh (born June 28, 1988 in Durham, England) is a student currently attending the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is sometimes known by his alias And1Viper, or Viper for short.

Basel is a complex guy, but said to be perfect (and a bit high in self-esteem) in every way. Respect is #1, but he is a good, honest guy. Ever since elementary school, Basel has been a straight-A, 90% plus student, and at the top of his class. Currently attending the University of Waterloo for Electrical Engineering since the fall of 2006, he has been labeled 'gifted' by his peers, yet some believe this has led him to get quite lazy.
As the infamous founder of the BS Publication (which has drawn heavy criticism from certain English teachers around the city), Basel is fighting to overcome such a laid back life, where not much has challenged him, and thrives on pressure and responsibility as he continues his attempts at unleashing his real potential.
