Talk:Androcles and the Lion (play)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article read,
- "Shaw analyzes the Bible and announces his findings wherein."
Wherein is of course wrong, because the wh-form must be relative or interrogative. But I can't really justify amending it to 'his findings therein' either, because you don't announce your findings in genetics, for example. The in isn't right. Do you have findings on genetics? Possibly. But I would expect findings concerning genetics or about genetics; or more often, people use no preposition at all and simply say, "These are my findings." 'Thereconcerning' isn't a word, and 'thereabout' and 'thereon' feel too pedantic. I think we lose nothing by simply cutting 'wherein' and replacing it with nothing. [edit] WikiProject Theatre Assessment
- Stub class - good start on History, but missing most Heading under Wikipedia:WikiProject_Theatre/Article_Structure guidelines, including Synopsis.
- Low importance - a single play constitutes a "highly specific area of knowledge".
