Why is the son "Andrey Markov (Soviet mathematician)" and the father "Andrey Markov" ... seems a strange way to disambiguate. --99.234.59.230 (talk) 15:50, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Well, Andrey Markov has to have its current target, as he is by far the most famous and important person of that name. I'm not sure what this page should be called; I dislike the idea of using the americanism 'jr.' for a Russian, but I don't know what would be better. Algebraist 22:41, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
