[edit] British Computer Society Young Professionals Group Chairs
This category doesn't exist, so there should not be a category in this article by that name. If you don't agree, please discuss here.

You already have a list of Chairmen in the BCS Young Group WP Article. Unless all or most of those people qualify under WP:BIO, a category and articles for each of those people may not be necessary. If you think it is necessary, do the following:
- Read Wikipedia:Notability (people) first
- Then read Wikipedia:Categorization of people
- Do most or all of these chairmen qualify for inclusion based on WP:NOTE? If they don't, then stop here.
- If they do, then create the category, then create articles for each of these people, adding the category tag. I would suggest that the category be titled "Chairmen of the British Computer Society Young Professionals Group"
It looks like the BCS Category isn't really a list of people, but a list of other related articles. There's a Fellows list, but a Fellow is a specific category of member of the BCS. So you're right, perhaps he doesn't belong in the main BCS category.

Hi, you're right we're not that familiar with this. I think the chair's do count as having pages under the guidelines, I have quite a list for each of them, most of them regularly speak at conferences and other events etc and are reasonably well known Starfish1 20:30, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like you figured it out. Good job. I added the category:British Computer Society to the Chairs category so that the new category would show as a subcategory of BCS. Go ahead and check out British Computer Society Category to see what I mean. -- TomXP411[Talk] 22:25, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Page Move
There are a few other Andrew Browns...; I will create a disambiguation page where "Andrew S. Brown" should be located. --Urzadek 07:07, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
