[edit] Nickname "assistio"

The nickname Assistio may or may not be a fact.

I was reading a message board where this page on wikipedia was being linked to and contained the nickname Assisto. Having looked further into this thread i later discovered that a member of this message board had altered the page of Andrea Capone on wikipedia and made up this nickname. Firstly i include the cached page from wikipedia where a user with the same user name as on this message board had altered the page: "http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Andrea_Capone&diff=prev&oldid=143947953"

Notice the nickname "Bhoyle1888". Now his post on the message board confirming that he did indeed alter the page and made up its contents look at the 5th post down: "http://kerrydalestreet.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=51340&st=5240"

I also emailed the board admin who confirmed they had the same ip address so there is no doubt this was the work of "Bhoyle1888".

Once i had confirmed this i quickly removed it. However a few days later it has been added again with a source being used as a newspaper aritcle that had sourced its information from the wikipedia page bhoyle1888 had altered.

Here is the results of a google search of the nickname: "http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=%22andrea+Capone%22+assistio&btnG=Search&meta=" you will find that only a few results come up. And if you look at the dates of these articles you will notice they happend after bhoyle1888 added the material to wikipedia.

I have emailed the writers of these aritcles and have had two replys. The first got his information from this page that bhoyle1888 had altered, and the second had copied from the first.

I will now remove it but am open to be given evidence that its actually true. Also no mention is made of this in the italian language version of the page either. Covbhoy 23:47, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
