Can this page please at least be expanded to meet WP:BIO? "He was a French Orientalist" doesn't show notability.--Jersey Devil 10:40, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Done. See how much smother things go when you dont afd right away? --Striver 12:36, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

You added "who wrote the second western translation of the Qur'an."....Please add something to actually help the article, don't leave this thing as a stub that will never be expanded again.--Jersey Devil 13:32, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

And why not? The article clearly shows his notability now. Are you implying that it is a undesired practice to create stubbs? Are you alledging that creating stubs make wikipedia less informative? --Striver 15:03, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

I am saying that all you do is create a bunch of one sentence articles, which are not even stubs as stubs are at least three sentences long, and you leave them there and then go on creating ten million other pages and then wonder why it is that people dislike your contibutions to the project.--Jersey Devil 01:37, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

I get it, you dont like this article, you belive its to short. Then fix it. Dont pretend it was beter of not being created. I view that this is much better than not being created. If you belive it is better to not have this created, then afd it, or even better, help make it better yourself.
I really dont get! Why in the world are you going to articles that did not exist, but need to exist, and whine about how small they are, and should not be here in the first place?! --Striver 11:05, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
