[edit] Changes

I changed his height to 6-8, I know the NBA and also various US sports sites have him listed at 6-7, but it's a mistake.

1. His draft measurement says 6-8.

2. He has always been known to be 2.03m in height.

2.03m just happens to equal almost exactly 80 inches, which is 6-8.

The 6-7 listing is a mistake.

I've changed it back to 6-7, unless you can provide a reliable source that shows him to be 6-8, it should remain 6-7. KOS | talk 07:35, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Early professional career, international, olympic

I've added additional info on Nocioni's NBA career, and I've given the NBA section references. Is there anyone that can do the same for is early professional, international, olympic career? KOS | talk 07:35, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

I'll give it a try, but don't spect much references in English... Mariano(t/c) 14:20, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Titles and Awards section

Those two really should be merged completely into the article, they are too short to warrant their own headline sections. KOS | talk 13:37, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure that's a good-enough reason; after all, he only has one olympic gold medal, and its box is at the very top of the article. Also, the Copa del Rey was not in the text. What about merging them in Titles and awards, or Achievement? I would also add the second place at the World Cup on 2002. BTW, thanks for leaving a msg at my talk page. Mariano(t/c) 14:20, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
I can see the "Titles" headline staying as its own section, but his awards are mentioned in the international and NBA sections, why list them again as a separate headline? It just seems quite redundant and unnecessary. :) KOS | talk 16:33, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, I would go for a merge between them, but if you don't feel it appropiate, remove the awards. Mariano(t/c) 10:16, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
Alright, I'll remove the awards section and see how it looks. If it still does not agree with you, then maybe merging them together will work. Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of town the last 3 days. KOS | talk 11:19, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GA

It didn't achieve it only because it has no images (Point 6) —Argentino (talk/cont.) 17:47, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GA re-review

This article meets the GA criteria but there are minor things that can be modified to give the article a better quality overall :

  • Some weasel words should be removed if possible, see his strength allows him to play some minutes.
  • A rephrasing of this Nocioni played only 16 minutes, while injuring his ankle. should be done.
  • He and Ginobili are friends and national teammates. is irrelevant to the article (gives a tone of news broadcasting to it).
  • Adding a picture isn't a requirement when none can be found.
  • Copyediting should be done more formally than what I did but it sounds good for GA status. Lincher 20:27, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Thanks Argentino and Lincher, for the review, I did my best to address the concerns above, please look them over if you wish, and let me know if they need to be addressed further. KOS | talk 22:11, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sourcing

The text "Nocioni has become a cult favorite among the fans in Chicago ever since he first came to the Bulls. At times you will hear the crowd chant "NO-CI-ON-I" repeatedly when Nocioni is in the game." has a few things wrong with it, it needs to be sourced and it suffers from weasel words. It really doesn't belong. It's also rather POV. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 20:24, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
