[edit] Fibonacci

I would like to add a footnote to the article that points out Applegate's mistake of giving Andalites seven fingers. This would not happen in nature because seven is not a Fibonacci number. If I were to add it, it would be irrelevant to the topic of Andelites. However, it would provide any inquisitive reader who would click on the Fibonacci link with an extra bit of handy knowlege. Should I do it?

That would be an interesting footnote to add, perhaps catagorized under 'mistakes' or something of the sort. However, it may be irrelevent, and afterall, as Andalites are fictional, and their overall evolution would be almost impossible if they evolved on a different planet(Too many appendages and too similiar to Earth creatures). However, I can't say if you should do it or not. Interesting fact, once I read it up, though. :) --Childofthemoor

Another reason that the non-Fibonacci number thing can be justified is that the Ellimist interfered with the Andalites evolution. This could have lead to the extra digits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.188.225.176 (talk) 17:28, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Brief Question

I know this may sound stupid, because I haven't really read the Animorph books, and I have to admit that I haven't seen the television show in ages, but can Andalites be infested by Yeerks? -- Dark Observer

Yes, Visser Three is the most prominent Andalite-Controller. --OGoncho 09:38, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Visser Cover.jpg

Image:Visser Cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
