From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Able Seaman Andrew Huston was one of six Australian "Z" unit commandos who paddled into Singapore Harbour and placed limpet mines during the successful attack on Japanese shipping in Operation Jaywick. He returned in Operation Rimau and the raid sunk three more ships, but Huston was killed soon after the attack. In the Telemovie "The Heroes", he was played by ex-neighbours star Jason Donovan. Andrew was given the nickname "Happy" Huston because he seldom smiled. Photograph courtesy of Huston's cousin Ron Henry, now deceased. Information courtesy of Brad Henry.
