Andrew Gordon "Andy" Wilkinson (born on August 6, 1984 in Stone, England) is an English footballer, currently playing for Stoke City.
He is a graduate from Stoke City's youth academy and his influence on the first-team may have been greater had it not have been for some unfotunate injuries. the Stone-born youngster, who broke into the side in the 2005/2006 season before suffering tendonitis in his knee, which forced him out of action for nearly 4 months.
He returned in March of that season to make a further 3 appearances before missing the rest of the campaign due to ankle ligament damage sustained against Southampton on April 15.
As well as playing for Stoke, he has also had loan spells at Telford, Partick Thisle and Shrewsbury Town. During 2006, he was on loan to Blackpool. This deal was thought to be made permanent but after getting an extended run in the Stoke City side, decided not to move.
