Andy Scott (Scottish footballer)

Andy Scott is a Scottish footballer who currently plays for Alloa Athletic. Scott was a product of the youth system at Motherwell but made just one senior appearance for the club. After leaving Motherwell Scott played in the juniors first for Bellshill Athletic then Cumbernauld United. After scoring 35 goals for Cumbernauld in 2006/07 Alloa started to monitor Scott's progress and after a trial period he signed for the Wasps in January 2008. He has 3 goals to his name most notably the first goal against first division Clyde in the 2007-2008 first division play off semi final![1]

Scott scored his first goal for Alloa against Airdrie United in January 2008. [2] [3]

Andy Scott is also known as the King of Fife and Alloa fans can be heard singing "Andy Scotts the King of Fife" at home games.[4]
