Andrew "Andy" Frank Millen (born 10 June 1965, in Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays in defence. He currently plays for St Mirren in the Scottish Premier League.
Millen is currently the oldest registered player in the SPL. He has previously played for St Johnstone, Alloa Athletic, Hamilton Academical, Kilmarnock, Hibernian, Raith Rovers, Ayr United, Greenock Morton and Clyde.
When Millen started for St. Mirren against Dundee United on May 5th 2007 at Tannadice, he became the oldest player to play in the Scottish Premier League at 41 years and 329 days. This beat the 7 year old record of Aberdeen legend Jim Leighton, who was aged 41 years and 302 days when he played against Dundee. Millen's record is more notable, as he played in the more physical role of an outfield player, whereas Leighton played as a goalkeeper. Millen further extended the record by starting against Gretna on 20th October 2007, aged 42 years and 132 days.
Millen has since increased the record by nearly fifty days to 42 years and 195 days with a start against Kilmarnock on 22 December 2007.
He is regarded as somewhat of a legend by many St Mirren fans for his never give up attitude and ability to intimidate opponents.
