Andy McGuigan

Andy McGuigan (b. 24 February 1878, Newton Stewart - d. 19??) was a footballer with Liverpool F.C.. He is one of only five people who have scored five goals in one match for that club.
McGuigan was with Hibernian before going to Liverpool for the 1900-01 season. He remained at the Liverpool, as a player, for only two seasons during which time he scored fourteen goals in thirty-one league games, including five in a 7-0 win over Stoke on January 4, 1901. He also had spells at Port Vale and Exeter City before returning to Liverpool as a scout.
