Andy Ludwig

Andy Ludwig (May 14, 1964) from Ogden, Utah is an assistant coach and offensive coordinator for the football team at the University of Utah. He is in his third at Utah.[1] He played college football at Snow College and Portland State graduating in 1988.

[edit] Coaching career

In 1987-1988 Ludwig was the receivers coach at Portland State. 1989-1991 Ludwig was the quarterback and receiver coach at Idaho State. In 1992 Ludwig came to Utah to be the Graduate assistant for the defense. 1993-1994 saw Ludwig at Augustana College (South Dakota) as the offensive coordinator. 1995-1996 he was the quarterback coach at Boise State. In 1997 Ludwig was at California Polytechnic State University as offensive coordinator and quarterback coach a role he would retain at the other program he would be at over the years. 1998-2001 Ludwig was in Fresno State. 2002-2004 was considered the peak of his career being at the University of Oregon. After some difficult years Ludwig was hired by close personal friend and newly named Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham for the 2005 season.
