- Drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2nd round (37th overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
- Was traded in November of 2005 to the Chicago Blackhawks for a 5th round selection in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
- Was resigned by the NY Islanders to a 2 year contract on July 3, 2007
