Andrew "Andy" Griffiths (born September 3, 1961) is an Australian children's book author and comedy writer. He is most notable for his Just series which was converted into an animated television series called What's with Andy?. Originally a vocalist with an 80s alternative rock band called "Gothic Farmyard", Griffiths grew up in Melbourne, Australia. In the 1990s he turned to serious writing. He has written many funny children's books.

All the Just books are illustrated by Terry Denton. They are a collection of books revolving around the main character Andy, his best friend Danny, his sibling Jen, and an assortment of other characters, (including Mum, Dad, Dad's boss and Mr. Bainbridge). In the series, Andy often gets into trouble and has a reputation for being stupid and causing trouble and mayhem.
