Andrew Mulligan Green (born July 7, 1977 in Lexington, Kentucky) is a second baseman who is currently in the Cincinnati Reds organization.
He is a versatile fielder, who has the ability to play in almost all of the positions in baseball. Since he made his debut, he has played at 2nd base, 3rd base, shortstop and in the outfield.
Green was named the 2005 Pacific Coast League MVP for the Arizona Diamondbacks Triple-A affiliate Tucson Sidewinders.
His first Major League hit came with the Diamondbacks in 2004, when he hit a 2-run, pinch-hit homer against the New York Yankees at Bank One Ballpark (as it was known in 2004).
Andy's 2007 contract was sold to the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters.[1] On January 5, 2008, Green signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds. He currently plays for the AAA Louisville Bats.
