Andrew Gregory Dalton (born October 29, 1987(1987-10-29) in Katy, Texas) is an American football quarterback, currently playing at the collegiate level for Texas Christian University.

Dalton was a star quarterback at Katy High School in Katy, Texas, where he led the Tigers to the state finals his senior year in 2005. That year, he was named the Greater Houston Area Offensive Player of the Year by the Houston Chronicle. For his high school career, Dalton completed 52 percent of his passes for 3,555 yards with 52 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.

As a freshman at TCU, Dalton redshirted and did not see any game action. He did, though, travel with the team to every game and was the team's third-string quarterback behind senior Jeff Ballard and redshirt freshman Marcus Jackson.

Entering the 2007 season, Dalton was in competition with Jackson to be the Frogs' starting quarterback. Two weeks before the season opener against Baylor, TCU head coach Gary Patterson named Dalton the starter [1].
