Andy Cabic is a folk rock singer-songwriter, and a member of the band Vetiver.

He was born in Virginia and attended school at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where he played in a band called The Raymond Brake.

Cabic moved to San Francisco in 1998 after the breakup of The Raymond Brake.

He is the main songwriter for Vetiver, occasionally co-writes with Devendra Banhart and is a member of the instrumental band Tussle.
