Andy Burton (Stroke Boy)Born in Burnley (Yorkshire) is a wanabe sports presenter currently attempting work as a reporter for Sky Sports News. He previously worked for Capital Radio and Bravo. He was the main commentator on Bravo's Fash's Football Challenge joined by Andy Goldstein. He has also commentated for Sky Sports, on Premiership football matches shown in their Saturday evening highlights show, Football First. Whilst at Bravo, Burton once missed the first half of a scheduled Serie A commentary, turning up at half time to commentate on the second half. Stroke Boy has also reguarly been noted for his very acurate transfer scoops most notably on transfer deadline days. Stroke Boy has a keen intrest dogs.

On 7 August 2006 Burton (ex-boyfriend of Bacon's present love interest Rebecca Macfarlane) went into a toilet at the Garrick Pub in Charing Cross Road, London (this next bit has been written by Burton) and was standing behind TV presenter Richard Bacon, Richard Bacon took offense at something Andy Burton apparently said and punched Burton. Burton retaliated punching Bacon two or three times, Bacon suffered a broken nose, black eye and split lip as a result of the altercation. The Police were called to the pub, and Burton was prosecuted and on 15 March 2007 found guilty and required to pay £250 compensation to Mr Bacon and £100 court costs, and given a two year anal discharge.[1][2]

Burton caused further controversy on his Facebook page when he called Paul Gascoigne "a retard with no chance of recovery", said article being printed in an issue of Private Eye. Burton also annoyed Chelsea F.C. on 21 March 2008 by broadcasting manager Avram Grant's interviews with British newspapers live on Sky Sports News after he had already used up his televised time with Grant.[3]
