[edit] Trivia
- The play's author, journalist Peter Braunstein, was arrested on December 16, 2005 for sexually assaulting a woman on Halloween while posing as a New York City firefighter. On January 5, 2006, he pleaded "not guilty" to charges of sexual abuse, arson, kidnapping, burglary and robbery.[2] He was convicted of all charges save arson on May 23, 2007.
- During the run of the play, it was claimed in publicity material that Misha Sedgwick was Edie Sedgwick's niece and this misidentification persisted in the media for more than a year.[3][4] . Edie's only living brother, Jonathan, disputed this claim.[5] The New York Times recently printed a retraction. [6]
