Andrew Williams (born March 1, 1979) is an Australian rules footballer with the Williamstown Football Club in the Victoria Football League.

[edit] History

Williams was recruited to the West Coast Eagles in the 1997 AFL Draft. He was rated in his younger days as a half-forward flanker and winger and initially selected as a long-term prospect. However he played 22 games in his second season (1999).

He eventually returned home in 2003 to Collingwood where he had a solid first year, playing 22 games before injury in the Qualifying Final against Brisbane meant he missed the Grand Final side. Despite a good first year he was banished to Williamstown, the club's VFL affiliate, over the next 2 seasons and managed just 10 games total in 2004 and 2005. He was delisted at the end of the 2005 season.

Today, Williams still plays with the Williamstown Football Club.
