Andrew Williams (New Zealand)

Andrew Williams (born 1959) is a New Zealand politician. In 2007 he was elected as Mayor of North Shore City, New Zealand's fourth largest city. Williams served on a community board during 2004-07, and was a councillor in the term before that in 2001-04.

Originally from Waipukurau, Central Hawke's Bay, Andrew moved to the North Shore in 1976 finishing his education at Rangitoto College. He has been a resident of Campbells Bay for the past 20 years. He is married to Jane and has three children.
