Andrew Sobel is a professor of political science at the Washington University in St. Louis. His area of expertise is the politics of international finance.

Sobel is the author of three books, Domestic Choices, International Markets (1994), State Institutions, Private Incentives, Global Capital (1999), and Political Economy and World Affairs (2005/06).
