[edit] 60 Days for 60 Years
This worldwide program was launched in 2005 and is a book (ISBN 0-9549397-0-0) with over 60 articles and each day one is meant to read an article about the holocaust. To quote their website (see link below)
"The 60 Days book has been produced with 60 questions and ideas about Judaism by renowned Jewish historians, educators and philosophers from around the world. This powerful book will provide inspirational thoughts on Torah ideas and concepts vital to Jewish life today. Every person will receive a card on which will be the name of a holocaust victim whom they will be learning in memory of as well as the town they came from."
As said in the quote, each of the hundreds of thousands of people who requested a book also received one of millions of cards with the name, country and city born in and date died of a person with a similar age to themselves.
