[edit] Early Life
Andrew attended St Kevin's RC Comprehensive School along with the likes of Dave Kirby and Nicky Allt. At 15 he was cast in Willy Russell's first Play for Today Death of a Young, Young Man.

His stage credits include starring as the Narrator in Willy Russell's original production of Blood Brothers in 1983 at the Liverpool Playhouse and in the subsequent transfer to the Lyric Theatre in London's West End. He also appeared as George in Of Mice and Men at the Old Vic, London in 2005.
More recently Andrew has appeared in all three runs in 2006, 2007 and 2008 of Brick Up the Mersey Tunnels playing the role of Dickie Lewis, Smigger in Lost Soul, Brian in Good Golly Miss Molly and Moey in the Alan Bleasdale comedy On the Ledge all at the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool.
He won the 2008 Scouseology Award for Theatre on April 25th 2008 for his versatility and contribution to Liverpool theatre.[1]

Andrew's best known film role is that of Johnny Rotten in Alex Cox's 1986 film Sid and Nancy. He appeared as Les in Terence Davies' Distant Voices, Still Lives, made a small cameo as a hotel receptionist in Three Businessmen and played Carlo in Revengers Tragedy.

Andrew's biggest TV role was as Francis Cully in Alan Bleasdale's 1984 Granada series Scully. He has also appeared in three more Bleasdale series, as Peter Grenville in GBH in 1991, Jake's Progress in 1995 and as Charlton Ffoulkes in Melissa in 1997. Other Tv credits include Maisie Raine with Pauline Quirke and Murphy's Law with James Nesbitt.
Most recently he played a shepherd in Liverpool Nativity for BBC Three where he sang the John Lennon song Imagine.

Andrew can be heard on the original cast recording of Blood Brothers and also as a featured vocalist on the Barbara Dickson album The 7 Ages of Woman.

Andrew still lives in Kirkby near to his parents Joesph and Josie, he is married to Angela who is known as Angie and they have 4 children Jessica, Laura, Bob and Drew.

He will be appearing as Paul Sheldon in Misery from June 14th - July 5th 2008[2] and Eight Miles High from July 18th - August 16th 2008, both at the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool.

Drew's eldest daughter Jessica is an actress and appeared with him in Lost Soul in 2007 after appearing in the premiere of the show in 2006 at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool. She was born March 6th 1986 in Liverpool and trained at Liverpool Theatre College. She will be appearing in Lost Soul again when the show is staged at the Royal Court in Liverpool in August 2008.
