Andrew Sambrook (born July 13, 1979 in Chatham, Kent) is a footballer, currently playing for Grays Athletic. He is a right-sided defender, who started his career as a midfielder.
Sambrook began his career at Gillingham whilst still in full time education at Rainham Mark Grammar School. Andy won a scholarship to Hartwick College, New York where he combined his football career with further education. Prior to his leaving the UK, Sambrook featured for England schoolboys.
On his return to the UK, Sambrook signed for Rushden & Diamonds, making over fifty appearances before transferring to Grays Athletic in the summer of 2005. He signed a one-year contract extension at the end of the 2006/07 season.
In April 2007, Sambrook won the 'Directors Player of the Year' trophy at the annual Grays Athletic awards ceremony.
