Andrew Pennington

Andrew Pennington was a Liberal Democrat councillor in Cheltenham, England, who died on January 28, 2000 while intervening to assist Cheltenham MP Nigel Jones when they were attacked with a samurai sword. For this act, he was awarded the George Medal posthumously.
