Andrew Ornoch aka Andrzej Mateusz Ornoch, (born August 21,1985 in Warsaw, Poland) is a professional Footballer who currently plays for Esbjerg fB in the Danish Superligaen.
Standing at 190cm, 82kg, a midfielder, began playing the Beautiful Game for the renowned North Scarborough Soccer Club. Known for producing international talents Julian de Guzman of Deportivo de La Coruña, Jonathan De Guzman of Feyenoord, Atiba Hutchinson of FC Copenhagen and Dave Simpson of AC Sparta Praha. From there he went on to Erin Mills, one of Canada's leading clubs that also produced talents such as Dave Simpson. After which earned an Athletic Scholarship to the University of Detroit Mercy where he was named Horizon League player of the year and offensive player of the year in 2005 on the way to leading the team to its first ever Horizon League Championship. In the spring of 2006 Andrew Ornoch departed from school a year early in order to play profession soccer in the Borsodi liga the top division in Hungary. But remains to this day the 4th All-Time top scorer in the History of University of Detroit Mercy.Soon after Andrew joined Lombard-Pápa TFC the team was relegated due to financial issues.
In 2006 Andrew was called up to the Canadian men's national soccer team making his Debut Cap on November 15, 2006 against Hungary at the age of 21.
In 2008 Andrew went on to sign a 4-year contract with Esbjerg fB in the Danish Superligaen where he joins fellow Canadian Atiba Hutchinson of F.C. Kobenhavn and Issey Nakajima-Farran of FC Nordsjælland.
