Andrew Fairlie is a Scottish actor who is most famous for playing the role of Gash Nesbitt in the BBC sitcom Rab C. Nesbitt. He also starred as Sunny Jim the the 1994 BBC series The Tales of Para Handy.
Since leaving the role of Gash Nesbitt in 1999, Fairlie has apparently not been working as an actor and it is not clear if he will return in the proposed 2008 Christmas special.
