Andrew Britton

Andrew Paul Vine-Britton (January 6, 1981 - March 18, 2008) was a British-born spy novelist.

Britton was born in Peterborough, England, in 1981. During his early childhood, he lived between England and Camlough village, County Armagh, Northern Ireland, until he moved to the United States in 1988. He spent years in both Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Raleigh, North Carolina. After graduating from Leesville Road High School in 1999, Britton joined the U.S. Army as a combat engineer. He stayed in the Army for three years and served in Korea. [1] [2]
After his military service, Britton attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, studying economics and psychology. Britton wrote three published books, including three books as part of his "Ryan Kealey" series. [3] He had his first book The American published at the age of 21, followed by The Assassin. The third part of the Ryan Kealey series, The Invisible, was Britton's final book, having been released only three weeks prior to his death. Britton's books appeared on the New York Times bestseller list and were translated into many languages.

On March 18, 2008, Britton died of an undiagnosed heart condition at the age of 27. [4]
