Andrew Booth (Monarch of the Glen)

Andrew Booth is a fictional character in the TV series Monarch of the Glen. Andrew is played by English actor Paul Freeman.

Andrew fell in love with Glenbogle when he stayed at Golly Mackenzie's house when his motorbike broke down. Due to his love to Glenbogle, and Archie MacDonald's need for money, Andrew bought Golly's croft off him and became a citizen of Glenbogle. Artist Andrew fell in love with something else - Molly MacDonald, and when she felt she had to leave Glenbogle due to her stepson Paul Bowman, Andrew decided to use Kilwillie's offer of round the world tickets for him and Molly. However in the end they never left Glenbogle. In series five, Andrew and Molly got together, and Andrew taught Molly how to drive. But they temporarily split up when Andrew offered Molly a room in his croft and the keys to his car. Molly felt he was being to generous. They got together again and eventually got engaged. However when Jess Mackenzie's friends had a party at Andrew's house when Andrew moved into the Big House, Duncan McKay and Golly got the people out of the croft and Golly found paintings by Andrew of many woman with Molly's engagement ring from Andrew on their fingers. Golly made Andrew tell Molly, and Molly called off the wedding. Andrew left Glenbogle to go back to London.
