Andrew Adkins is the singer/guitarist for rock and roll group, Mellow Down Easy.
Recently he was voted one of the top songwriters in Nashville by a Nashville Scene (local Music City arts/entertainment publication) reader's poll. He along with his band are a driving force in the regional indie music.

Andrew Ray Adkins was born in Defiance, Ohio on March 25, 1977. He was born an only child. He grew up in a small town outside of Defiance. Attended Paulding High School in Paulding, Ohio. Moved to Nashville, TN in 1996.

He continues to tour and record with fellow Mellow Down Easy members, Rodney Rusell and childhood friend, Daryl Dasher.
Adkins currently resides in North Nashville, Tennessee, where he lives with his girlfriend and small dog.
