Andrej Podkonický

Andrej Podkonický (born May 9, 1978 in Zvolen, Czechoslovakia now Slovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player.
Originally drafted in 1996 by the St. Louis Blues, he played briefly for the Florida Panthers and Washington Capitals and has since then played in Slovakia, Finland, Germany, Russia and the Czech Republic.
He played for Slovakia at the 2007 and 2008 IIHF World Championship.
