Andrei Nikolishin

Andrei V. Nikolishin (born March 25, 1973, Vorkuta, USSR) is an ice hockey player. He stands at six feet tall and weighs 215 pounds.

Nikolishin was drafted in round two of the 1992 draft, picked 47th by the Hartford Whalers. Across his career he's played 628 games, with 93 goals and 280 points. He played for the Hartford Whalers, Washington Capitals, and Chicago Blackhawks before being acquired by the Colorado Avalanche for the 03–04 season. Since 04–05, Nikolishin has been playing for different teams in the Russian Super League. In November 2007, he was signed by Traktor Chelyabinsk and is currently the team's captain. Nikolishin is a center forward, who is particularly good in the face-off circle.
