Andrei Lipanov (Saint Petersburg, 12 April 1976) is a Russian ice skater.

Lipanov was born in Saint Petersburg and began to skate when he was a young child. In 1982 he won bronze medals at international tournaments in Russia and Korea. In 1984 during the Winter Games he won the junior title in Russia.

Lipanov partnered with a Belgian actress and model and presenter Kelly Pfaff in the Belgian/Dutch version of Dancing on Ice in 2006 where they reached third place^[1].

Lipanov joined the professional skaters of the UK version of Dancing on Ice for its second series, in 2007. He partnered actress Clare Buckfield, and achieved the joint top score of 29.5 (out of 30) twice in the finals. They were voted second by the British public, beaten by rugby player Kyran Bracken.

Clare and Andrei returned to Dancing on Ice for the Champions of Champions, going again the three finalists for both UK series. The same result was reached as the previous week's final, with Clare and Andrei coming second to Kyran and Melanie.

They returned once more for Dancing on Ice: The Tour. Andrei danced with both Clare and his wife Susie.

Lipanov appeared again in the third series of Dancing on Ice in the UK, which began on Sunday 13th January 2008. He was partnered with sports presenter Natalie Pinkham (while his wife Susie partnered Olympic javelin thrower Steve Backley). Lipanov and Pinkham were voted off in week two of the competition, after being defeated by three votes to two in the skate-off against TV presenter Tim Vincent.
