Andreas Hemmeth

Andreas Bang Hemmeth, aka DJ Encore (b. 1979 in Copenhagen) is a Danish songwriter, music producer and artist.
He has been at the top of the radio airplay charts in Denmark, US, UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Brazil, and France with different projects. His best achievements were being certified:
- 5x platinum in Denmark for co-writing the single "Spirit of Christmas" for the boy band C21
- 4x platinum in Portugal for co-writing the single for FF
- 2x platinum as DJ Encore
- 1x platinum for co-writing for the Finnish rock band Tiktak
- gold for co-writing for the Danish project Laze
- gold for co-writing the Eurovision Song Contest single "Den Jeg Er" for the artist Charlie
Hemmeth has also reached number 1 on the American Billboard with a remix for Res, and top 5 twice in the UK with remixes for LeAnn Rimes and Frou Frou.

Hemmeth's U.S. debut was in 2001 as DJ Encore, paired with Danish vocalist Engelina. His debut album, Intuition, was released in 2002. The album sold more than 350.000 units worldwide, and featured the songs "I See Right Through To You.", "Walking In THe Sky" and "High On Life". His second album, released through Koch Records, is entitled Unique. The album, which was released in the U.S.A. and Canada in 2007, features the vocals of Johanna Stedt. Hemmeth has a university degree from Roskilde University in economics.
Hemmeth has been hired by danish football club Brøndby IF in Copenhagen to do communications.
