Andrea M. (Nebel) Haugen

Andrea M. (Nebel) Haugen is an Germanic neopagan musician, writer and poet from Germany. She was married to Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen (aka Samoth) and has one daughter with him. She has also been known as Andrea Meyer, Andrea Hagen, and Andrea Meyer Hagen.

Through her music, lyrics and writings, she explores the spirituality of ancient Northern Europe, searching for the forgotten wisdom and values of her Pagan ancestors. She is one of, if not the best known, artist of the genre. Andrea has also written concepts for videos and short films and has been involved with the alternative music scene since 1994.

Her comments about patriarchal religions and her perception of human nature and occult subjects in interviews became quite admired in the alternative music scene. When she moved to Norway she became very engaged in the revival of the northern pagan traditions. This became the inspiration for her musical entities Hagalaz' Runedance and Nebelhexë (literally 'fog-witch').
